🌊 DRAIN & SEWER

Drain cleaning, camera inspection and sewer repair

A backed-up drain is the kind of problem that ruins a weekend. We clear it, then use a camera to show you why it happened — because clearing the same clog three times is not a repair.

What we fix

From a slow sink to a collapsed sewer line

Kitchen drains clog with grease, bathroom drains with hair and soap, and main lines with tree roots that found a crack years ago. We handle all of it, and we can tell the difference between a simple blockage and a pipe that has failed.

Signs to watch for

Telling a simple clog from a sewer problem

One slow sink is usually local. These signs point instead to your main line, which is the more urgent situation:

Several fixtures slow at once — tubs, toilets and sinks together indicate the main line, not a trap.
A toilet that gurgles or a tub that bubbles when the washing machine drains.
Water rising at a floor drain in the basement or garage, typically the lowest point in the system.
Sewage odor in the yard, near a cleanout, or around the foundation.
A soggy or unusually green patch of lawn along the sewer route.
Clogs that keep coming back weeks after being cleared — something structural is holding waste.

Stop using water if sewage is backing up, and call us. Continuing to run fixtures gives the backup more to push into your home.

What to expect

How the visit actually goes

1
Clear the blockage

First priority is getting your drains working again so the household can function.

2
See the cause

Where it matters, we run a camera so you can see the pipe rather than take our word for it.

3
Explain the options

If the pipe is sound, we are done. If it is cracked or root-invaded, you get a repair plan and price.

4
Leave it clean

We protect the area, clean thoroughly, and advise on keeping the line clear.

How pricing works

Drain clearing is quoted before we start. Camera inspection is priced separately and we will tell you honestly whether your situation warrants it. Any recommended line repair comes as a written quote with financing available, never as pressure in the moment.

Questions

Drain and sewer questions we hear every week

Why does my drain keep clogging after it was cleared?

Because the clog was a symptom. Recurring blockages usually mean roots, a low spot, a crack, or heavy scale inside the pipe. A camera inspection finds the actual cause so you stop paying to clear the same line.

Do you have to dig up my yard to fix a sewer line?

Not always, and never before we know exactly where and what the problem is. We locate the fault first, then discuss the least invasive repair that will genuinely last.

Are chemical drain cleaners a bad idea?

For anything beyond an occasional slow sink, yes. They rarely clear a real blockage, they can damage older pipes, and they make the line hazardous for whoever opens it next. Mechanical cleaning is safer and it works.

Can tree roots really break a sewer pipe?

Roots do not break sound pipe, but they find existing cracks and joints, then grow and expand them. In older Triad neighborhoods with mature trees this is one of the most common causes of main line failure we see.
