Wallburg properties tend to be large, which means the plumbing does too. Water lines run a long way from the well or meter to the house, and frequently onward to a barn, a shop, a second building or livestock waterers. Every additional foot is another foot that can freeze, shift or leak underground where nothing will show above it.
That is why underground leak detection is a bigger part of our Wallburg work than almost anywhere else we go. A leak in a two-hundred-foot buried line announces itself only as a bill increase or a pump that never stops, and finding it by digging is not a plan. We locate it first.
Heating and cooling out here is heat pump territory, often with buildings that were added and conditioned later using whatever was convenient at the time. We are used to sorting out what the previous arrangement was before deciding what it should be. Winter freeze protection on exposed and outbuilding lines also comes up every year.

My water bill or pump run time jumped but I see no leak. What now?
On a property with long buried runs, that is the classic signature of an underground leak. We isolate sections by pressure test to establish which run is losing water, then pinpoint it acoustically so the excavation is one small hole rather than a trench.
Can you plumb or heat a barn or workshop?
Yes. Outbuilding water lines, frost-proof fixtures and conditioning for shops and garages are routine for us out here. Freeze protection is the part most often done badly, and it is the part that fails first.
Is it a long wait because Wallburg is rural?
Not usually. We are twenty minutes away and out this direction regularly, and we run emergency calls here the same as anywhere else in our area.
